Hiring Information
Ok, so you are thinking of hiring our hall for your event. Having had a look through our website, we hope this has answered some of the basic questions.
The Hire Charges & Agreement gives some basic information and the costs.
Next step would normally be to contact our Booking Clerk, see the Contact Us page, and arrange to come and have a look around. Then you can have a chat and sort out any details.
But for now here are some points that might help:
Access can be arranged before and after the event to set up and clean up.
The fully stocked kitchen is available for your use.
We have a public address system if you wish to use it.
We can provide a bar for your event, but you cannot bring your own alcohol.
Your booking is not confirmed until we receive the completed Hiring Agreement and deposit.
The total hire charge must be paid two weeks prior to the event.
Bookings that we deem ‘inappropriate’ will be declined.
Please read the Conditions of Hire; we know it is boring but it contains information you will need.
For larger bookings please encourage car sharing and consider having someone overseeing car
parking, as our car park is limited to 50 cars, and there is no on-road parking.
But most of all, we wish your event a success and are here to help. So if you are not sure please ask!
